The Board of Directors and Staff of AVDA is thrilled to announce that it opened its Life Enrichment Center (LEC) in the first half of 2020! 

AVDA seeks to raise $5 million to purchase the property and provide endowment funds to sustain the program and property. AVDA respectfully requests your contribution to the Life Enrichment Center project to help us fulfill our mission to promote violence-free relationships and social change by offering alternative choices to violence and domestic abuse.  

Life Enrichment Center services include:
Advocacy Services 
Individual and group support to adult domestic violence survivors. Services include domestic violence awareness education, safety-planning, court accompaniment, assistance with domestic violence injunctions, completing applications for relocation assistance offered through the Victims of Crime Act. Attorneys from Legal Aid will be able to meet with survivors on site. 
Anne’s STEPS (Support Training & Education for Personal Success)
Services include assistance with creating personalized financial plans and identifying and securing affordable housing, providing classes on financial literacy, personal wellness and succeeding in the workforce.  
Community Education & Professional Training 
AVDA will provide training to healthcare professionals, law enforcement personnel, social services agencies, employees and community groups on the topic of domestic violence.
Prevention
AVDA’s Violence Prevention Educators provide age appropriate violence prevention curriculum to meet the unique needs of needs of Palm Beach County youth. The model focuses on changing the social norms that support violence against women in our communities.
