Every year, from October 15th - December 15th, you can help the families in our shelter with donations of new, unwrapped gifts and gift cards for the holiday season.
AVDA sets up your donated unwrapped gifts in our board room in a manner similar to a toy store. Survivors come in and "shop" for the items they would like to give their children. This process helps restore power and dignity to those we serve.
Gift cards are greatly appreciated so survivors can get in the holiday spirit with everyone else and shop for the gifts they would like to give their children. Gift cards also help provide options for survivors who have teenage children.
